To sign up for alerts from PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric), follow these steps:
Go to www.pge.com and log in to your account. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one.
Use your login credentials to access your account. If you're a new user, you'll need to register for an account first by providing your PG&E account number and personal details.
Once logged in, click on the "My Account" section. From there, look for a tab or link called "Alerts & Notifications" or "Manage Alerts."
You can sign up for various types of alerts, including outage notifications, bill reminders, payment confirmations, and energy usage updates.
For example, you can opt to receive alerts via text, email, or phone calls depending on your preference.
You’ll have the option to choose how and when you’d like to receive alerts. Select your preferred method of communication and the specific alerts you wish to receive.
After customizing your alerts, make sure to save your preferences so you’ll start receiving notifications.
Once set up, you’ll start getting alerts based on your selections, helping you stay informed about outages, billing, and energy use.
